Owner/Designer
Designarchy moved to Des Moines, Iowa from Berkeley, California in September of 2008. We were the first certified-green graphic design business in Berkeley (awarded by the Bay Area’s Alameda County), and we have been certified green by the national sustainable network of businesses called Green America (formerly Co-op America) since 2006. Designarchy is also certified by Green-e, the nation’s leading voluntary renewable certification program, for our use of green tags to offset 100% of our electric consumption. Through our passions for animal welfare, environmental issues and design, our portfolio ranges from the simplest to the complex. We have 17 years of experience, yet we are young and vibrant in our approach to graphic design solutions that mind the life cycle of a project, rather than the end result. We understand the consequences of what we create and take steps to lighten our footprint. We know that specifying vegetable inks and recycled paper is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to practicing and advocating sustainable graphic design. Many of our clients are also our allies in raising awareness and finding cost-effective solutions that meet our needs without compromising our planet’s future. Designarchy offers expertise in creating and/or maintaining your company's branding. Services offered include, among others: logos, brochures, catalogs, identity development, collateral, posters, books, cds, newsletters, banners, packaging, promotional materials, ads, label design, magazines, flyers, signage, and tradeshows.
