Stay Gold Charlie derives from its name from two films: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and The Outsiders. Concisely explained, we wish to celebrate and cultivate the innocence of youth and its genuinity as these works have sublimely done.

15% of our profits directly help fund projects of small and devoted non-profits. Every item in our store is attentively handcrafted and has a strong upcycled and repurposed element. For this reason, most of our items exist in small, limited quantities. Often times, only a single original is produced.

An arts and crafts enthusiast since childhood, Kimberly Nguyen is a recent UC Irvine graduate who is addictingly on experimental mode with life. Stay Gold Charlie is the chubby lovechild of a lifelong accumulation of creative interests, idealistic quests and many chocolate chip cookies.
