How are You Going Green?

I am the editor of Green Talk, green living website dedicated to helping others live a greener lifestyle along with being a sustainable/green building consultant. Seven years ago, I started building an environmentally friendly, energy star home with a focus on nontoxic materials. This house was the impetus to Green Talk, which I started in 2005, which initially focused on green building. However, the website become more of a mirror of my own life where I teach others about being frugal green, the 3Rs, green building, green decor, green living, and organic gardening through blog posts, podcasts and video.

Again, another fork in the road appeared. Sustainable Pathway was another offshoot of Green Talk, since I started helping businesses look at their own carbon footprint and make decisions which would green their bottom line.

I do hope that when the building industry comes back that I can put my LEED credentials to work and help build green buildings. I guess when this happens, I will have come full circle back to my original passion, which is green building.
